Dear Humble Police Association Supporter:
On Friday April 23, 2010 the Humble Police Association
will hold our 13th Annual Crawfish Festival at the Humble
Civic Arena. This
fundraising event is held for the sole purpose of providing scholarships
to Humble ISD students and Humble Police Officers children.
Humble Independent School District students are eligible to apply
for a scholarship through the Lonestar College System.
Our Association currently has seventeen Lifetime Endowed
Scholarships and will have an eighteenth paid for this year.
These scholarships provide seventeen $1000 scholarships every
year to the Humble ISD students who are selected by the Lonestar College
Foundation. In addition, we
provide additional scholarship funds to the Lonestar College each year
along with funds for the children of Humble Police Officers who will be
attended college throughout the State of Texas.
We average scholarship payments in excess of $10,000 each year to
several recipients.
This benefit is not only for a great cause but serves
as an entertaining way to spend one evening each spring networking with
hundreds of attendees. We
are asking for your help in making this event a huge success.
Attached to this letter will be information on how you, as an
individual, and your business or organization can assist us in helping
these children further their education.
Also you will find a flyer with all of the pertinent information
regarding the festival, including times, location, ticket costs, and
silent and live auction information.
